The announcement for the schedule of the 2023 World Cup in India will be made by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday, June 27th.
As per the preliminary schedule provided by the ICC to the participating teams, Pakistan's campaign will commence with matches against two qualifying teams.
On October 15 in Ahmedabad, the Men in Green are set to face India in an intense clash, marking a highly-anticipated showdown between the arch-rivals.
It is worth mentioning that the schedules for the last two World Cups were announced over a year in advance. However, this year's mega event faced delays in its schedule due to the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) delayed approval of the draft fixture list.

Former chairman of the PCB Management Committee, Najam Sethi, recently stated that the approval or disapproval of the World Cup schedule lies with the government, as is the case with India's government determining their participation.
Moreover, the PCB had approached the International Cricket Council (ICC) to consider changing the venue for their matches against Australia and Afghanistan during this year's Cricket World Cup in India.
Pakistan had requested the ICC to swap the venues for these matches, believing it would give them an advantage. The initial schedule had Pakistan playing against Australia in Bengaluru and facing Afghanistan in Chennai.
Typically, venue changes at ICC events are only made in response to security threats.
The PCB's internal note expressed the desire to switch the venues for the aforementioned matches as much as possible. The suggested change would involve Australia playing in Chennai and Afghanistan playing in Bengaluru, which would position Pakistan as the clear favorites in both encounters.

October 6 - vs Qualifier in Hyderabad
October 12 - vs Qualifier in Hyderabad
October 15 - vs India in Ahmedabad
October 20 - vs Australia in Bengaluru
October 23 - vs Afghanistan in Chennai
October 27 - vs South Africa in Chennai
October 31 - vs Bangladesh in Kolkata
